Healthy Start @ NYCHA Coordinator
The Healthy Start @ NYCHA Coordinator will serve in NYCHA’s Department of Resident Health Initiatives under a groundbreaking program to support expectant NYCHA families. The program works across systems to ensure that expecting NYCHA families have a safe home and connections to supportive resources. The program supports NYCHA’s broader work to create safer homes for children and is aligned with local and national efforts to dismantle maternal and infant health inequities.

NYCHA Health Corps Member Support Coordinator
The NYCHA Health Corps is a Public Health AmeriCorps program that creates pathways for public housing residents into health careers and facilitates partner investment in preventive health interventions that advance equitable health outcomes. The program is a collaboration between the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA), NYC Service, and the Public Housing Community Fund. Corps Members are engaged over a 10-month service term and assigned to work at a nonprofit or public host site organization.

Now Hiring: NYCHA Resident Fellow at Kingsborough houses
The Public Housing Community Fund is seeking a skilled and dedicated NYCHA Resident Fellow at Kingsborough Houses to join a growing team to support and manage a groundbreaking public-private partnership program. In this position, a Fellow will conduct discussions and document personal experiences about art heritage, history, and community experiences–past and current. The Fund envisions a two-year community engagement fellowship about the relevance and significance of Exodus and Dance frieze and the artist Richmond Barthé, including the community’s shared histories of community activation and placemaking. This insight will inspire and guide a place-based installation during the grant period.

NYU SPS Real estate scholars application open
NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate, in partnership with The Public Housing Community Fund, will be offering this FREE program for NYCHA residents interested in exploring the real estate industry! Topics covered include the history of real estate, design and development, real estate underwriting metrics, valuation, project feasibility, sustainability, and property/asset management. Apply by Marh 8, 2024.

NYCHA ARCScholars Application open!
Attention NYCHA residents 14 to 24 years of age, join ARCscholars, a nine-session course where participants work collaboratively with architecture students from CUNY's City Tech. Together, the cohort will continue the study of the NYCHA Queensbridge Houses to research buildings and outdoor spaces and to propose design ideas to enhance the built environment. ARCscholars will be joined by professional mentors throughout the program to guide the work and help them create an independent project.
